As one of the first joint actions, they launched the report “Recycling Infrastructure for Plastic Packaging: Outlook and Opportunities for Investment in Chile”.

InvestChile and the Chilean Plastics Pact, Circula el Plástico, jointly launched the report “Recycling Infrastructure for Plastic Packaging: Outlook and Opportunities for Investment in Chile, which aims to identify investment opportunities in the country for classification and / or recovery infrastructure, placing special emphasis on the recycling infrastructure for plastic containers and packaging.

This is one of the first joint actions that seek to generate business meetings with national and international investors and an event at the end of August.

Currently, Chile is leading the transformation towards sustainable development. The new Circular Economy Roadmap, the EPR Law, the regulations associated with the use of the material, the Chilean Plastics Pact and the different public and private actors working together, the changes in consumer habits, and the importance of the education related to this subject; are generating a unique unprecedented opportunity to boost the economic potential of the recycling industry. For these reasons, it is important to enhance the current opportunity to invest in this industry, which simultaneously positions itself as a focus of economic development and a benchmark in economies with a positive impact on social and environmental issues.
